How To Disable Blogger/blogspot Country Specific Domain/302 Redirection

In this post i will show you How To Disable Blogger/blogspot Country Specific Domain/302 Redirection. Blogger has slowly started converting all blogger blog URL to country specific Domain addresses. People living in norway will see a .blogspot.nr domain and those living in India see .Blogspot.in and so on. Blogger team has automatically added the canonical link element to all blogger templates by default in order to avoid duplicate content issues on two different domains in search engine optimization. So in order to solve that problem you need to add a script in your template


  • NOTE This tutorial is only for those who are using free Blogger domain like yourblog.blogspot.com. Custom domain users does not have this problem

How to Disable Blogger/blogspot Country Specific Domain/302 Redirection

  • Simply click on add to blogger button shown below
  • Make sure that you log in to your blogger account

hmm nice post, have question im thinking to buy custom domain by google should i instal this widget?

If i instal and dont want more i can remove the script?

im trying to say when add this script to disable country spcific can i come back or can i enable again for example i was livecyberdreams.blogspot.pt and when add this script he change to livecyberdreams.blogspot.com can i return or change back to livecyberdreams.blogspot.pt?

Hey Sonu,
i have used this on my blog http://www.techgroovers.blogspot.in but now everytime when anyone visit my blog they are redirected to http://w.blogspot.com/ and also i am not able to remove the widget as when I open the layout option in blogger it is giving :

"Error interpreting blog template

LHS of numeric is null before 35 in http://www.techgroovers.blogspot.in"



Please help me out of this

I think something is wrong with this code. When I use it it redirects my blog to another blog named w.blogspot.com so, now presently I removed the code from my blog and now it is fine. Please make corrections if any errors.
